As part of the Offer Creation Procurement team, reporting to the Director of Offer Creation Procurement, you will provide a structured and comprehensive procurement solution for the UPS and batteries category. You will be involved from the early stages of projects related to new products, product line evolutions, productivity, resourcing, acquisitions, and the deployment of the industrial strategy.
You will contribute to decisions regarding design, industrialization, and sourcing. You will define the Group’s procurement strategy for your category and integrate objectives related to cost, quality, lead time, innovation, CSR, compliance, and risk management.
You will work closely with the Marketing and R&D;, Operations, Quality, Laboratories, Legal, and Finance teams, as well as local representatives from country subsidiaries and international suppliers.
The position is available starting September 1, 2027.
In this strategic and international role, with no direct reporting line, your responsibilities will include:
- Defining and implementing the short-, medium-, and long-term procurement strategy for the UPS and batteries category across the Group.
- Representing the Procurement function in projects from the early phases of offer creation to contribute to technical, manufacturing, and supplier decisions.
- Manage RFQs, consultations, bid analysis, negotiations, and supplier selection for new projects, product updates, and resourcing plans.
- Conduct market analyses, supplier and price benchmarks, and monitor cost drivers and trends related to materials, components, and transportation.
- Identify opportunities for productivity gains, standardization, dual sourcing, redesign-to-cost, and localization of supplier pools.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, local buyers, international liaisons, and suppliers, from defining requirements through approval and transition to mass production.
- Manage supplier performance across cost, quality, service level, innovation, CSR, compliance, and risk management,
and lead Business Reviews for strategic suppliers.
- Secure supplier relationships by working with the legal department to draft the necessary contracts, confidentiality agreements, and long-term agreements.
- Ensure sustained economic performance, quality, on-time delivery, CSR, and innovation across its categories, while promoting best practices throughout the procurement network in accordance with the Group’s ethical guidelines.
- Provide regular reporting on achievements, risks, action plans, sourcing decisions, and productivity gains.
- You hold a master’s degree in procurement or an engineering degree with a specialization in procurement.
- You have at least 5 years of experience (gained after completing your degree) in direct procurement, technical sourcing, category management, and/or project-based procurement in an international industrial setting.
- You are proficient in negotiation techniques, RFQs, financial analysis, contract management, and managing strategic suppliers.
- You have a solid understanding of the technical and industrial challenges related to UPS solutions, batteries, power electronics, energy storage, and associated components.
- You have a solid understanding of macroeconomic issues, strong skills in market analysis, supplier benchmarking, cost driver analysis, and developing multi-regional sourcing strategies.
- You are familiar with project management methods for proposal development, industrialization, supplier certification, and risk management.
- You know how to mobilize multidisciplinary teams within a global matrix organization and drive the achievement of objectives without direct reporting authority.
- You are comfortable using business tools (EcoVadis, ERP, etc.) and collaboration tools (Teams, etc.).
- You are fluent in business English, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level). Fluency in French or Italian is a plus.

Requirements
- Permanent position.
- Option to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
- Position based at a Group location, ideally in France or Italy.
- International travel is an integral part of the job.
