Position

Based at our HQ in Rome, this role sits within the Global Graphic & Digital team, part of the Communication Department, and reports directly to the Communication Graphic Manager.

The Front-End Developer will be responsible for the design, development and ongoing optimization of fendi.com , as well as related apps, landing pages and digital touchpoints. The role will support the creation of new web/mobile user interfaces and interactive applications for the Maison, working closely with UX/UI Designers, the eCommerce team, Media & Analytics and external development partners.

A key part of the role will also be supporting the management and implementation of website accessibility requirements , in coordination with the manager.

Job responsibilities

- Develop and maintain new features for fendi.com using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript .
- Work closely with Web and UX/UI Designers on the creation of landing pages and the update of existing pages.
- Contribute to the delivery of seamless, high-quality and user-friendly customer journeys across the website.
- Support the development of web/mobile user interfaces and interactive applications for the Maison.
- Monitor website quality through testing, maintenance activities, bug tracking and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the Media & Analytics team to execute the CRO roadmap, coordinating when needed with external development agencies.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to the eCommerce ecosystem to enhance performance, usability and operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation of A/B testing and UX optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to the management of website accessibility requirements and best practices.
- Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, business teams and external vendors to ensure timely and high-quality execution.

Profile





- 3+ years of experience in Front-End Development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript .
- Experience with Vue.js .
- Good knowledge of CMS and eCommerce platforms ; experience with CoreMedia and Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with FreeMarker and JavaScript-based templating frameworks is a plus.
- Advanced CSS skills and a passion for writing clean, scalable and testable code.
- Basic understanding of Google Tag Manager and support for A/B testing and UX optimization activities.
- Basic knowledge of UX principles and prototyping tools, especially Figma .
- Understanding of HTML/CSS for newsletter creation .
- Basic knowledge of digital accessibility standards .
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIR A (Notion as a plus)
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in coordinating external vendors/agencies .
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and team-player attitude.
- Results-oriented, organized and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English .

For new joiners for this role in Italy, the annual gross salary associated with this position is EUR 35.000.





This is only the initial annual gross salary granted to this position. This figure has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria and reflects the starting salary normally applicable to the position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs.

This role is also eligible for bonuses, subject to Fendi's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance. On top of legal benefits, further benefits are provided in accordance with current company policies.

This position is subject to the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Commercio) applicable to the role and applied by Fendi in Italy".

The Fendi Maison was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. The opening of the first Fendi boutique – a handbag shop and fur workshop followed. Soon winning international acclaim, Fendi emerged as a brand renowned for its elegance, craftsmanship, innovation and style.
