The Arizona Department of Correction, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is looking for an experienced and very professional SUPPLIES WAREHOUSING SUPERVISOR responsible for the budget for warehouse operations and for the overall management of projects, supplies, materials, and equipment needs based on past usage and anticipated organization activities. This role also establishes operational receiving schedules for distribution of purchased materials at the Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC) - Eyman in Florence, AZ.Job Duties:Manages automated inventory control system for the warehouse and perform periodical inventoriesPrepares documents for purchasing and restocking of supplies in accordance with the state Procurement Rules utilizing the automated State Procurement SystemProjects supply, and material needs based on past usage and anticipated institutional operationsPicks, packs and stages ordersDevelops and implements warehouse operation related proceduresPrepares periodical reports, invoicing and special projectsInterfaces with vendors regarding delivery schedules, purchasing and problem resolutionDrives on State businessPerforms other duties appropriate to the assignmentKnowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):Knowledge of:Warehousing systems, practices and procedures including receiving practices, shipping methods, inventory control, accountability,



stock rotation, supervision, and hazardous materials control (HAZMAT)State procurement rules and regulations/proceduresMaterial and supply managementFire code safety practices and processes, record keeping and retentionReport preparation, OSHA rules and regulationsWarehouse safety practices and proceduresPersonal computer and software applicationsPrinciples and practices of leadership and work managementSkill in:Safe operation of a variety of warehouse equipmentVerbal and written communicationEstablishing and maintaining interpersonal relationshipsUtilizing inventory software and warehouse equipmentReport preparationOrganization, scheduling and assigning tasksAbility to:Lift/Carry up to 50lbsPush/Pull up to 50lbsWalk/Run up to 0.25 milesApply sound critical judgement, read, interpret, and implement a varied range of reference materials, directives, policy, procedures, regulations, codes, laws and mandates related to area of responsibilityLearn principles and practices of leadership and managementApply good security, management and supervisory methodologyAdapt to changing priorities and/or direction, completing and maintaining established time framesLift and move items manuallyPerform mathematical calculations, and data entry functionsWork independently, exercising independent judgmentEstablish and maintain effective work relationships while maintaining professional standardsProvide constructive direction and criticismWork in a prison and warehouse environment/settingSelective Preference(s):Prefer five (5) years of experience involving receiving, storing, inventory and distributing a variety of supplies and materialsThree (3) years experience in supervision of a warehouse environmentPre-Employment Requirements:Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and drug test. In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter. If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job,



then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.)
