About the opportunityUnder the direction of the Team Leader, the Recovery Worker completes initial conversations and assessments, develops action plans, and works alongside participants to support them in achieving their recovery goals.

In this role, you will facilitate group activities that build capacity, confidence and life skills, while providing individualised, person centred, recovery focused and trauma informed support. You will also support participants and their families, carers and supporters to connect with peer support, education programs and primary health services where appropriate.
Travel between service locations is required as part of this role. Travel occurs during work hours using Wellways pool vehicles, with no overnight travel required.
By delivering high quality support, you will help participants, their families, carers and supporters strengthen wellbeing, build on their strengths and participate in community life in ways that are meaningful to them.
