The Team:

The Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS) provides specialist counselling, advocacy, and support for adults, children, and young people who have experienced family violence. As part of the Safe at Home service system, FVCSS is committed to promoting safety, recovery, and wellbeing for victim-survivors through a compassionate, trauma-informed, and client-centred approach.

The Deputy Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting a skilled and dedicated multidisciplinary team. Working closely with the Statewide Manager, the Deputy Manager provides clinical leadership, professional guidance, and day-to-day coordination of statewide services, ensuring high-quality, responsive support for individuals and families affected by family violence.

The Role:

Provide expert clinical leadership, mentoring, and professional support to Team Leaders, clinicians, and administrative staff within FVCSS, fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture while upholding organisational values and professional standards.

Support the Statewide Manager,



Family Violence Counselling and Support Service, in the coordination, development, and delivery of statewide services, ensuring safe, effective, and trauma-informed support for victim-survivors in accordance with Agency policy and legislative requirements.

Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, government agencies, and community organisations to strengthen service delivery and improve outcomes for individuals, families, and communities affected by family violence.

Demonstrated expertise in family violence practice, with substantial experience in the clinical and/or therapeutic support of individuals, children, and families experiencing family violence and complex care needs, with proven ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, carers, and partner services to deliver coordinated, compa
