OverviewAs Enterprise IT Architect for the VisionPLUS card processing platform, you act as the technical authority and solution lead for the Italian client, guiding design decisions and governance while providing hands-on support. You own the end-to-end technical landscape, drive complex incident resolution, and ensure high availability, security, and regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, scalable payment solutions on mission-critical systems.

Responsabilità

Act as the overall technical architect for VisionPLUS and its integrationsServe as primary senior technical contact for the client, handling complex queries and design discussionsLead major incident management with deep-dive diagnostics and cross-team coordinationProvide hands-on support for critical production issues across online and batch processingDesign and govern distributed-to-mainframe integrations (APIs and middleware)Review and approve technical changes, enhancements, and release plansMentor Advisor- and Engineer-level team membersCollaborate with product owners, operations, infrastructure,



and vendor teamsEnsure systems meet 24/7 availability, performance, and security requirementsContribute to resilience, automation, and technical debt reduction initiatives

Requisiti fondamentali

Extensive experience with VisionPLUS in card processing environmentDeep understanding of card lifecycle processing (authorisation, clearing, settlement, billing, disputes)Hands-on expertise with mainframe tech (CICS, DB2)Experience designing and supporting API-based and event-driven integrations with mainframe systemsProduction support, incident management, and root-cause analysis in 24/7 environmentsAbility to balance architectural ownership with hands-on executionFluent Italian and English (spoken and written)Willingness to participate in out-of-hours support for critical incidentsCross-functional collaborationStrong communication and stakeholder managementTechnical leadership and mentoringVisionPLUS modules and card processing knowledgeMainframe: CICS, DB2 performance analysis and data troubleshootingAPI-based and event-driven integrations with mainframes
