VAT, Indirect Taxes &

- Customs Manager

Working closely with the Head of Group Tax, , we are looking for a VAT, Indirect Taxes &

- Customs Manager.

Responsibilities

- Responding to queries and providing VAT &
- Customs support for business projects and in a wide ranges of VAT issues;

- Manage the Italian VAT Consolidation Group, review VAT calculations and oversee VAT &

- Customs reporting,;

- Coordinate the filing operations in the EU VAT registrations;

- Executing controls to ensure quality of VAT filings;

- Work closely with Accounting to make sure the accounting treatment of VAT is accurate and complete;

- Coordinate VAT &

- Customs payments/refunds;

- Support cross border transactions;

- Manage relationship with VAT &

- Customs Authorities;

- Manage relationship with external VAT &

- Customs advisors;

- Ensure VAT risk is managed appropriately for all business transactions;

- Analyze and support the implementation of changes to VAT and Customs legislation;





- Manage the maintenance of AEO regime;

- Support the management of other indirect taxes (IMU, CBAM, Deforestation, Conai, Conou).

Competencies

- Ability in working closely with Managers and Senior Managers;

- Strong technical knowledge of indirect taxation and VAT advice;

- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with LN is preferred;

- Fluent in English, Italian needed.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, or a related field;

- Experience in working for a large Company or primary advisory firm with similar complexity level for at least 8-10 years;

- AEO (Operatore Economico Autorizzato) qualification is considered a plus.

Location: Province of Modena, with 1 day of remote working per week
