You will complete engineering assignments efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. *- Work model: #LI-Hybrid* In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: * Engineering development of protection relays and control systems * Programming project-specific applications efficiently and meeting customer requirements, ensuring proper functionality and interfacing to other systems. * You will carry out acceptance testing (FAT and SAT) of Protection and Control systems in cooperation with other colleagues and customers, following the health and safety regulations. * You are also responsible of creating and reviewing technical customer documentation for your projects. * You will participate in the commissioning of the application on customer sites.



* This position offers you excellent opportunities to develop as an expert in protection and control products and systems. **Qualifications for the Role** * Diploma in a technical field, preferably in Electrical or Automation. A Bachelor's or Master's degree is considered a plus. * Good general working knowledge on HMIs, PLCs and I/Os, preferably with ABB products, as well on Windows-based operating systems * Understanding of control system topologies and communication protocols * You work well both independently and as a part of a team. You seek solutions actively, instead of focusing on problems * Interaction with both customers and other ABB team is an important part of this job * You are at ease communicating in Italian and have a good command of English * Willingness to travel is required to some extent, to ensure successful completion of the delivery projects **Compensation Package** As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position: Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico Minimum annual salary: €36.000,00 Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Premio The offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards.
