IDM Automation S.r.l. - Vigevano (PV)

For our operational headquarters in Vigevano (PV), we are looking for a Commercial Director who will be responsible for leading the company’s commercial development strategy, coordinating the sales organization, strengthening relationships with key strategic customers, and driving business growth both in Italy and internationally.

The successful candidate will also play a key role in structuring and optimizing commercial processes by introducing methodologies and tools designed to improve sales predictability and performance. This position supports the growth of a rapidly evolving company specializing in the design and delivery of high-tech industrial automation systems and solutions.

What We Are Looking For

- Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field;
- Proven experience in Commercial Director, Head of Sales, or similar senior commercial leadership roles within structured B2B industrial environments;




- Extensive experience in selling industrial plants, machinery, automation solutions, or other high-tech products characterized by complex and medium-to-long sales cycles;
- Demonstrated ability to manage, coordinate, and develop sales teams and commercial networks;
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems, sales forecasting methodologies, and commercial planning processes;
- Excellent analytical skills, with proven ability to define and monitor KPIs to drive business performance;
- Fluent English, both written and spoken;
- Knowledge of a second European language (such as French or German) will be considered a plus;
- Availability for frequent national and international business travel.

Compensation

Expected gross annual salary (RAL): €55,000 – €60,000, commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
