Overview
As the EMEA Power Commercial Director, you will lead the commercial strategy for Vertiv's Power BU across the region, translating growth goals into a coherent plan executed through the central Sales organization. You will orchestrate cross-functional resources to win strategic deals, balance pricing discipline with profitability, and ensure demand and forecast accuracy. This role is influence-led, requiring strong collaboration across matrix stakeholders and a credible technical-commercial perspective. You will drive AI-enabled productivity to accelerate decision-making and protect margins, in support of a multi-product power portfolio targeting significant growth.
Responsabilità
- Own Power BU order, sales and gross-margin targets across the full portfolio via the central Sales organization
- Develop and execute a cross-functional commercial strategy aligned with growth targets
- Manage pricing governance and strategic deal pricing, with inputs from Product Management
- Review deals for technical-commercial fit and price optimization,
balancing aggression and margin protection
- Participate in SIOP and translate strategic deal insights into accurate demand forecasts
- Lead win-loss analyses to refine pricing, positioning and packaging
- Enable the Sales matrix through strategic engagement with cross-BU teams and training
- Identify commercial, contractual and financial risks early and coordinate with Commercial Finance
- Champion AI adoption to improve deal analytics, pricing insight and forecasting
Requisiti fondamentali
- 12–15 years in commercial, sales or business management leadership in power or related markets
- Proven track record delivering order and margin targets in a matrix/indirect sales environment
- Strong pricing governance, discounting, margin management and complex multi-product deal structuring
- Technical competence in power systems to evaluate offers and shape solutions with pricing insight
- Experience with SIOP or demand-planning an
