pbJob Description Summary /bAs a Customs Trade Compliance Specialist, you will support the compliant, efficient, and timely international movement of parts, components, and technical documentation across our aerospace organization. /p h3Job Description /h3 pYou will manage daily import/export and trade compliance activities, helping ensure customs documentation is accurate, customs clearance is completed smoothly, and all transactions comply with applicable export control and sanctions requirements. You will partner closely with Internal Trade Compliance (ITC), Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, and external brokers/forwarders to minimize operational disruptions and support on‑time delivery. /p h3Essential Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport import/export and customs compliance activities in a regulated aerospace and industrial environment /li liAssist the governance process development /li liCoordinate with brokers, forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipment issues /li liSupport restricted party screening and license administration /li liContribute to KPI reporting, data accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives /li liEnsure ongoing monitoring of customs and import/export regulatory updates, while developing and maintaining related internal procedures /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree in Law or Engineering /li liProven experience in customs, import/export, logistics, trade compliance,



or supply chain /li liKnowledge of customs processes and international trade documentation /li liExperience with EU customs/export control regulations is a plus /li liFluent English /li liStrong attention to detail and accuracy /li liGood analytical and problem‑solving skills /li liAbility to work across functions in a fast‑paced environment /li liHigh integrity, learning agility, and a proactive mind /li liWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required /li /ul h3Desired Qualifications /h3 ul liFamiliarity with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and cross‑border shipping operations /li liWorking knowledge of HS classification, customs valuation, origin determination, and Incoterms /li liUnderstanding of sanctions compliance, restricted party screening tools, and export licensing processes /li liExperience supporting audits, compliance reviews, or internal control processes /li liExperience with KPI tracking, reporting tools, and data analysis /li liDemonstrated ability to drive process improvements in customs, logistics, or trade compliance workflows /li liStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners /li /ul h3Why Join Us /h3 pAt Avio Aero, people power our progress.
