Overview

In this role you will optimize manufacturing processes at our Florence plant, delivering higher efficiency and quality for high-volume energy components. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure product manufacturability and implement continuous improvement across lines. You will drive lean initiatives, develop process documentation, and train production staff to adopt new methods. This is a hands-on role in a high-tech, safety-conscious environment with opportunities to influence future manufacturing innovations. You will contribute to reducing costs while maintaining top quality and reliability.

Responsabilità

- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with product design to ensure manufacturability of new products
- Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify improvements




- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and SOPs
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and protect quality
- Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, and methods
- Train production staff on new processes and technologies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor in Manufacturing Engineering
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Experience with automation and robotics is a plus
- CAD proficiency and other engineering tools is a plus
