For powertrain applications, the role is primarily focused on diesel engine calibration, including performance optimization, fuel consumption improvement, emissions compliance, and aftertreatment system calibration. This job includes the independent planning, execution, and evaluation of calibration functions in different calibration environments (e.g., test track, engine and powertrain test benches, software in the loop environment, etc.). /p pbYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: /b /p ul liIndependent calibration of control unit functions for various vehicle systems (powertrain, ADAS, chassis, E/E, etc.), with a strong focus on diesel engine management systems. /li liIndependent planning, execution, and evaluation of calibration functions in different calibration environments. /li liCalibration and optimization of diesel engine functions, including combustion, air path, fuel injection, torque control, emissions, and aftertreatment systems, to achieve customer and legislative targets. /li liIndependent creation of documentation for calibration parameters and measurement results. /li liIndependent presentation of results to the customer. /li liIndependent development of innovative methods and tools for calibration tasks. /li liSupport for the project manager and logistics in planning calibration activities. /li liSupport in creating and implementing patent ideas. /li liParticipation in tests and customer meetings.



/li /ul pbYOUR PROFILE: /b /p ul liSecondary college for technical education, or a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, energy engineering, propulsion systems engineering, or similar fields, preferably with a focus on internal combustion engines and powertrain systems. /li liDriver's license for cars is advantageous. /li liSeveral years of experience in the application and validation of control unit functions. /li liSeveral years of experience in diesel engine calibration, ECU application, and validation activities on engine test benches, powertrain test benches, and/or vehicle testing. /li liExperience in the calibration of diesel combustion, air handling systems, fuel injection systems, torque management, emissions control, and aftertreatment functions. /li liGood understanding of diesel engine development processes, emissions legislation, and exhaust aftertreatment technologies. /li liGood understanding of different vehicle systems (powertrain, ADAS, chassis, E/E, etc.). /li liEnglish language skills (very good). /li liMastery of comprehensive coordination activities. /li liStrong communication skills, team spirit, and interest in working in international teams.
