h3Team Overview and Job Responsibilities /h3 pWe are looking for a PROJECT INVESTMENT CONTROLLER based in our headquarters in Milan, who will report to the CAPEX Manager and functionally reporting to the Finance department of the Business Unit Transmission of Prysmian. /p pThe PROJECT INVESTMENT CONTROLLER main task is to support the governance of manufacturing investments, which are aimed at enhancing the Group’s plants footprint, by managing investments’ projects planning, the relations with procurement department, and the spending status of investment’s projects. /p h3Who Are We Looking For? /h3 pAs PROJECT INVESTMENT CONTROLLER your focus will be supporting the investment Project Engineers in defining assets’ initial budget and developing the investment’s business cases. You will also track project progress (time, orders and budget) to secure control over the project lifecycle while improving the overall investments execution, identifying synergies among the investment portfolio. /p h3Current Investments Project Portfolio /h3 ul liAverage number of active Projects: 20 /li liAverage Project duration: 2 year (from 10 months to 4 years) /li /ul h3Key Activities and Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport CAPEX team to prepare comprehensive Business Cases, outlining financial aspects, potential risks and expected returns of proposed investment projects /li liCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Procurement, Machinery, RD, Plants) to establish project budgets and ensure alignment with overall financial objectives /li liCooperate with Procurement Team to monitor actual supplier’s saturation, identify alternative suppliers and potential spending efficiencies /li liCollaborate with investment Project Engineers to track progress against the established timelines and budgets /li liUnder the supervision of BU Transmission Finance function:
ul liDefine the proper structure of the project breakdown structure /li liMonitor project expenditures and make cost projections at project completion /li liMake assessments by identifying and addressing budgetary variances promptly and defining efficiency actions /li liGenerate regular reports on project economics highlighting key metrics /li liDevelops post-project financial analysis to assess the accuracy of initial projections and identify areas for improvement /li /ul /li /ul h3Key requirements /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Management Engineering /li liSkilled in budget management and project accounting /li liExperience with SAP /li liFamiliarity with manufacturing processes and investments in production facilities is a plus. /li liPrevious experience on EPCI projectsis a plus /li liExperience with Procurement Processes is a plus /li /ul h3Soft skills requirements /h3 ul liExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesto different levels in the company /li liAbility to deal with high level management of other functions (Procurement, Engineering, Finance) /li liProblem solver, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail /li liTeam player /li liProficient in English and Italian, written and spoken.
