pReporting to the Engineering Manager and under general supervision, as our Project Engineer (m/f/i) - Power Distribution Certification you will work in an international team and you will autonomously manage the execution of projects within Electrical Distribution Segment to ensure that the certification projects are delivered on time and with the best quality and experience for our clients. /p ul lipManages certification projects for devices in Wiring Devices segment (e.g., connectors, terminal blocks, cable trays, cable glands, industry plugs and sockets, etc.). /p /li lipDetermines project specifications such as: scope, cost, time, sample requirements, technical documentation etc., by analyzing client input, available data and product construction. /p /li lipPreparing datasheets and instructions, scheduling and reviewing work of Laboratory Technicians and establishing completion dates. /p /li lipCommunicates with clients to discuss technical issues, completion date etc., and explains UL procedures and requirements. Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites. /p /li lipProvides technical assistance to clients in reference to product evaluations, inspection, plans review and follow-up services /p /li lipEstablishes appropriate test programs by reviewing files and manufacturer's information, examining samples, and applying UL requirements. /p /li lipDevelops test requirements for products beyond the scope of existing standards,



or those involving unique features requiring frequent use of independent judgment. /p /li lipDetermines areas in which the product may not be in compliance with the applicable Standard based requirements. /p /li lipPlans, conducts and supervises code and regulatory related projects of major magnitude and scope. /p /li lipUniversity Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics from an accredited program plus four years directly related work experience. /p /li lipDetailed knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the appropriate discipline. /p /li lipWorking knowledge of conformity standards in use in area of expertise. /p /li lipDemonstrated ability to apply project-handling concepts in use in area of expertise. /p /li /ul p#LI-HH1 /p pUL LLC has been and will continue to be an equal opportunity employer.
