The selected candidate will join the ERS (Energy Recovery System) testing team and will be involved in the validation and development of electromechanical components for high‑performance applications, with a specific focus on electric motors.
Testing activities will be mainly carried out on test benches , within a highly technological and innovation‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, performance and endurance testing on ERS systems
- Develop and execute test plans in accordance with design specifications and company standards
- Analyze test data to identify anomalies, performance trends and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of electrical components within the powertrain system
- Verify electrical and mechanical system compatibility
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Support Design and R&D; teams by providing technical feedback based on test results
- Contribute to the development of next‑generation electric motors through modeling, simulations and prototyping activities
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and test reports
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards during all testing activities
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Experience in testing and validation of electrical systems, preferably in automotive or motorsport environments
- Strong knowledge of:
- Energy Recovery Systems (ERS)
- Motor‑generator technologies
- Power electronics
- Proficiency in the use of test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power meters, data acquisition systems)
- Knowledge of control systems, CAN communication and embedded system interfaces
- Multidisciplinary approach (electrical, thermal, mechanical, control software aspects)
- Strong teamwork attitude combined with autonomy and sense of responsibility
- High motivation, goal orientation and strong focus on quality
- Fluent English;
knowledge of Italian isconsidered a plus
