pThe Venice Simplon-Orient-Express Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of all maintenance activities related to the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express carriages and related equipment. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the rolling stock by implementing effective maintenance strategies, managing a team of maintenance technicians, and adhering to all relevant regulations and standards (ECM 779/2019). The VSOE Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for budget management, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiative, under the leadership of the Engineering Manager. /p h3Maintenance Planning Strategy /h3 ul liDevelop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and strategies to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the VSOE carriages. /li liConduct regular inspections and assessments of the rolling stock to identify maintenance needs. /li liDevelop and manage a preventive corrective maintenance program to minimize equipment failures and downtime. /li liMonitoring of the maintenance plan, together with Fleet Supervisor (ECM3), following the ECM Standard 2019/779. /li /ul h3Maintenance Execution and Supervision /h3 ul liOversee the execution of maintenance tasks, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality and ECM standards. /li liTroubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues, providing technical guidance and support to the maintenance team.
