ph3Short Description /h3 pBowman has an opportunity for a Survey CAD Technician II to join our team in Etna, NH. /p h3Purpose /h3 pAssist in the preparation of project deliverables and contract documents in accordance with the company design standards and client requirements. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform work under moderate supervision. Receive direction on moderately complex assignments, tasks, and execution. Work is frequently reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound techniques and principles. Review work produced by junior staff for quality assurance. ul liWork closely with more senior staff members to learn and assist in design work. /li /ul /li liUnder supervision, convert all applicable information into electronically generated drawings and project documents with accuracy, neatness, and speed. ul liPerform horizontal computations for boundary surveys and analyses of field location and record information to determine property lines. /li liDraft final house location surveys from survey crew field notes and personal field measurements of building improvements. /li liCompute horizontal positions of planned buildings, streets, curbs, etc. for stakeouts. /li liCheck record plats for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting for review. /li liSubmit plots to county for review. /li liGain a thorough knowledge of ALTA Land Title Surveys, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, residential and commercial construction stakeout procedures, and practices. /li liPerform a variety of complex computations for traverse, record plats, boundary surveys, construction stakeouts, horizontal control, etc. /li liMay complete land development related surveys as well as boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, construction layout, and subdivision layout (traditional land development work). /li /ul /li liSuccess Metrics and Competencies ul liAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and external partners. /li liHighly motivated and problem‑solving attitude. /li liStrong sense of urgency in responding to constituents. /li liEffective verbal and written communication skills.
/li liStrong work ethic and commitment to quality. /li liSelf‑reliance and ability to operate independently with limited direction. /li liEffective working relationship with internal leaders and peers, as well as external clients. /li liData analysis and interpretation skills. /li /ul /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liHigh school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in survey, geography, architecture or civil engineering preferred.
