Cut real work with Spirit, every day, and tell us where it gets in the way. You are the first user and the loudest one.
What you'd do
- Edit the pieces we produce - teasers, showcase films, client work - using the platform for all of it.
- Push the generation tools into the corners: what holds, what drifts, what is not worth the credits.
- Write down what you find, plainly, and see it change the product.
- Sit with studios during onboarding and show them how someone who knows the craft actually works in it.
Why it's hard
You will be editing on a tool that is still being built, which means part of the week is friction you have to describe precisely instead of just working around.
Precision about your own annoyance is a skill, and it is the one we need most.
What it isn't
Not a QA seat with a checklist. Not a role where you only test - you deliver real cuts on real deadlines.
Who tends to fit
- You have cut work that shipped, and you can talk about why a cut works.
- You are at home in Resolve or Premiere and unbothered by learning something new.
- You have opinions about AI-generated footage - for or against, as long as they come from having used it.
