Offer Description The research program is aimed at the design and development of experimental platforms and virtual environments for investigating the factors influencing the embodiment of artificial limbs, including upper-limb prostheses, robotic limbs, and virtual limbs,



as well as the development and validation of sensory feedback and sensory substitution systems to promote their integration into the body schema.
The research activities will include the experimental validation of the developed platforms and devices through studies involving both able-bodied participants and individuals with upper-limb amputation. These studies will evaluate the effectiveness of different sensory feedback approaches in promoting embodiment, motor control, and functional performance using behavioral and neurophysiological measures, including electroencephalography (EEG), electrocardiography (ECG), and skin conductance recordings...
