We are seeking a chief technology officer (cto) – vp of technology to lead the technology function of a global energy advisory firm with ~300 professionals across europe and north america.
Key Responsibilities lead enterprise it and operations across multiple countries, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, endpoint management, global service desk and identity & access management. maintain and optimize internal business systems such as microsoft dynamics 365 crm, finance, operations and related data workflows. oversee client‐facing platforms in two regions, define product roadmaps, ensure system connectivity and drive continuous platform maintenance. integrate ai and automation solutions, collaborating with business units to improve processes and scale growth without proportional headcount increase. manage technology cost, vendor relationships, licensing negotiations and outsourced managed‐service arrangements. provide leadership and mentorship to a distributed, multi‐country technology team, fostering a high‐performance culture across time zones.




Requirements proven track record in defining and executing technology strategy for mid‐size organisations, covering both internal systems and client‐facing digital products. deep expertise in the microsoft ecosystem (azure, dynamics 365, power platform, microsoft 365). hands‐on operational leadership style with a focus on practical implementation. strong commercial acumen, experience in vendor negotiations, licensing optimisation and multi‐country technology budgeting. excellent cross‐cultural communication skills and ability to lead distributed teams. familiarity with modern data platforms (azure data lake, databricks, microsoft fabric, powerbi) and prior exposure to the energy sector is a plus.
