Overview In this hybrid role, you design and implement backend software for telecom-focused systems, solving complex networking and platform challenges. You will contribute to Linux-based environments and IT networking initiatives within a cross-functional team at HPE. The role supports ongoing development of backend and distributed components, with a focus on reliability and scalable solutions. You will work with cross-geo partners to ship high-quality software for edge-to-cloud applications.

Responsabilità
- Design and implement enhancements to subsystems of systems software (OS, compilers, networking, utilities)
- Analyze designs to determine coding, integration, and testing needs
- Create and execute testing plans and documentation; debug and optimize code
- Collaborate with internal and outsourced partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions
- Communicate project status and issue resolutions with stakeholders
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (equivalent)
- 2–4 years of backend or distributed software design and development experience
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Strong backend development language skills
- Solid Linux experience and networking fundamentals
- Good understanding of IP networking and Layer 2/3 protocols
- Experience with Git and software testing/debugging methodologies
