About this vacancy
The Project Engineer will coordinate the technical aspects of complex projects involving automated and integrated warehouses (stacker cranes, shuttles, conveyors, AMR/AGV, sorters, automated picking). They act as the technical reference point between the client, internal offices, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to timelines, costs, and specifications.
Main responsibilities:
Analyze client specifications and translate them into technical solutions, layouts, and warehouse workflows
Prepare and manage project technical documentation: functional specifications, layouts, material lists, integration diagrams
Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and software engineering activities (PLC, WMS/WCS) and their integration
Manage the technical progress of the project, monitoring milestones, budget, and risks alongside the Area Manager
Interface with suppliers and subcontractors, verifying technical compliance
Handle changes during execution (change requests) and update as-built documentation
Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards (Machinery Directive, CE marking, industry norms)
