Overview
In this role you will be the responsible engineer for protection and control project work, leading engineering tasks on small projects or portions of larger initiatives. You will develop protection relay and control system solutions, program project-specific applications, and conduct FAT/SAT testing in collaboration with customers. You'll prepare technical documentation and participate in site commissioning, growing as an expert in ABB protection products. The role blends independent delivery with cross-functional teamwork in a hybrid setup, offering meaningful impact on power reliability and safety.

Responsabilità
Engineering development of protection relays and control systems
Programming project-specific applications to meet customer requirements
Performing FAT and SAT testing in coordination with colleagues and customers




Creating and reviewing technical customer documentation for projects
Participating in commissioning on customer sites
Acting as responsible engineer on projects with varying complexity
Collaborating with customers and ABB teams to ensure successful delivery
Requisiti fondamentali
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Automation field (preferred)
Bachelor's or Master's degree considered a plus
Experience with HMIs, PLCs and I/Os, preferably ABB products
Understanding of control system topologies and communication protocols
Strong independent and team work capabilities
Effective communication with customers and internal teams
Italian language proficiency and good English
Willingness to travel to support delivery projects
