GE HealthCare seeks a Field Service Engineer for the Toscana region to install, configure, maintain, and repair medical equipment at customer sites. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, staff training, documentation, and escalation of complex technical issues while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, test, and calibrate medical equipment to ensure optimal performance
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of moderate complexity on installed systems
Train healthcare staff on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting procedures
Maintain accurate work documentation including debriefing, parts ordering, and performance metrics
Conduct remote diagnostics and troubleshooting; escalate complex issues to senior peers
Requirements




Prior experience in medical equipment field service or similar technical role
Proficiency in one medical equipment modality with developing knowledge in another
Fluent in Italian and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles with EHS compliance mindset
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and digital tools for data analysis and presentations
Basic network setup and troubleshooting capability for connected medical devices
Compensation:
€35,600–€48,950 annual salary
