As an
Expert Short-Term Power Portfolio & Flexibility,
you will be part of
Plenitude Societa Benefit
. Specifically, your team will be responsible for dispatching the Company's generation and consumption assets on short-term electricity markets.
Main activities
Support in defining the supply strategy on the electricity markets and/or forecasting volumes for the generation and consumption park managed by Plenitude
Implement the strategy and/or forecasting process and operational presence on the Italian and foreign markets
Analyze the performance of the actions undertaken, monitoring the markets, competitor behavior, needs and system balance
Support in the definition of statistical-quantitative models for activities in the Short Term Power Portfolio & Flexibility area, in collaboration with other functions in the Energy Management area
Prepare analytical and management support reports
Provide support for continuous improvement and operational process automation projects by collaborating with other company functions.
Required features
Master's degree in a STEM discipline or Economics. Other degrees or lower-level qualifications will also be considered, provided that significant experience is relevant to the role.
Possession of a Doctorate of Research (Ph.D) in the above-mentioned fields will constitute a preferential qualification.
At least 3 years' experience in roles related to the short-term electricity market, including short-term forecasting, in Italy, with experience preferably also extending to operations in foreign markets, especially France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland
Programming knowledge (Python, R, MatLab)
Good knowledge of the English language.

We offer a gross annual salary between €56,000 and €70,000.
The final offer will be formulated in line with the professional experience, technical and transversal skills possessed by the resource, functional for the role and valuable to the company.
In the presence of particularly relevant professional experience and technical and transversal skills, the Company may evaluate an offer with an improved classification/RAL level.
