Overview

In this leadership role, you will define and execute a global supply chain strategy for a large industrial group, across 15+ manufacturing sites. You’ll partner with Commercial, Operations, and Finance to align supply chain capabilities with growth and profitability targets. You’ll lead end-to-end SCM activities, drive efficiency, and enhance customer experience through process improvements and technology. This is a chance to shape global standards, optimize working capital, and enable scalable growth.

Responsabilità

- Define and implement the global B2B supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead the global manufacturing footprint's supply chain agenda and ensure consistency with standards
- Partner with Commercial and Business Leaders to identify market opportunities and growth potential
- Support strategic projects including production line transfers, plant relocations, and cost-saving initiatives
- Oversee end-to-end operations: demand planning, procurement, production scheduling, and distribution
- Improve processes to boost efficiency and reduce costs while optimizing inventory
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to forecast demand and ensure supply
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Enhance customer experience through service excellence and process improvements




- Optimise trade working capital via effective inventory and supply chain management
- Promote technology adoption to improve visibility and forecasting accuracy
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to anticipate risks and opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally on new product launches and market expansions

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
- 12+ years in supply chain within complex international manufacturing
- 5+ years in senior leadership roles
- Proven track record leading global or multi-regional SCM
- End-to-end SCM expertise (S&OP;, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory, Customer Service, Logistics, Network Optimisation)
- Solid understanding of manufacturing operations in industrial sectors
- Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision making
- Leadership of multicultural, distributed teams
- Strong stakeholder management and executive-level influence
- Financial acumen (business cases, cost optimisation, working capital)
- Experience with ERP, Advanced Planning Systems, and analytics tools
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Willingness to travel internationally
