You'll be the right hand of our Square Lover, acting as the operational heartbeat of the hostel and overseeing the team to ensure the YellowSquare vibe stays alive.Work closely with a passionate, international team that values creativity, community, and collaboration; Grow with us: this role offers real room to develop into future leadership opportunities within our network; Enjoy a dynamic work environment in the heart of Rome, with excellent fringe benefits and a stable team culture.What you'll be doing:Supporting the Square Lover by working closely with the Reception/Bar team and overseeing Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Maintenance; Being a daily point of reference for the team — ensuring tasks are clear, spirits are high, and operations run smoothly; Monitoring servicestandards, helping resolve guest issues, and keeping the Square vibe consistent; Coordinating shifts, schedules, and workflows to keep everything moving across different departments; Assisting with admin tasks, reporting, inventory,



and ensuring full compliance with Italian local regulations.What you should have:5+ years of experience in hospitality, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role; Strong leadership skills: the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with a diverse team; A people-first mindset with a strong eye for guest experience and team wellbeing; A knack for problem-solving and the ability to stay cool under pressure; High proficiency in spoken English and Italian; Confidence with digital tools, booking systems, and hospitality tech (previous hostel experience is a big premio!).
