Plumma SRL is a technology company building two complementary business lines: an Industrial & Medical SaaS platform on AWS serving IoT, medical, and manufacturing clients, and Plumma Connect, a GSMA Open Gateway Channel Partner aggregating Mobile Network Operator (MNO) APIs for fraud prevention, identity verification, and authentication use cases. Founded in 2025 and built on 25 years of engineering experience, Plumma partners with major telecom operators and technology providers across Europe, Latin America, and beyond.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of our cloud-based SaaS platform and our Network API aggregation layer. You'll work on backend services, API integrations, and infrastructure that power mission-critical solutions for industrial, medical, and financial-sector clients.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs on AWS
- Develop and integrate Network API connections with MNOs and technology partners (e.g.,



Number Verification, SIM Swap, KYC Match)
- Collaborate with product and business teams to translate client requirements into technical solutions
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the platform

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Software Engineer (specify years, e.g., 2+ years)
- Strong proficiency in [backend language/stack, e.g., Node.js, Python, Java]
- Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, etc.)
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration
- Understanding of security best practices, especially relevant to fintech/telecom data
- Good written and spoken English

Nice to Have

- Experience with GSMA Open Gateway / Network APIs or telecom integrations
- Background in IoT, medical device software, or industrial systems
- Exposure to fraud prevention or identity verification
