This is a key appointment for a commercially focused professional who has built a strong reputation within the maritime industry and possesses an extensive network of established relationships.
My client is looking for an individual who can bring more than traditional business development experience. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to identify commercial opportunities, engage senior decision-makers and convert industry relationships into tangible business results. You will play an important role in expanding market presence, strengthening strategic accounts and driving new revenue opportunities within a well-established maritime business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business development initiatives, identifying and securing new commercial opportunities across the maritime sector.




Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
Leverage an established network of shipowners, operators and maritime stakeholders to generate new business.
Build and strengthen relationships with senior decision-makers and strategically important customers.
Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and develop long-term commercial partnerships.
Manage commercial negotiations, proposals and significant business opportunities from initial engagement through to completion.
Monitor market developments, customer requirements and competitor activity to identify areas for growth.
