Position

We are looking for an intern to join the Collection Merchandising team, with the objective of supporting activities related to collection development and the product lifecycle, while contributing to market, competitor, and collection performance analysis. The candidate will have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive overview of merchandising processes in a luxury context, collaborating closely with the team across the various phases of collection development and supporting the identification of useful insights for future seasons.

Job responsibilities

- Competition Analysis: Conduct deep dives into market trends and competitors, creating dedicated reports;
- Assortment & Strategy: Contribute to seasonal brief strategy and assortment decisions;
- Collection Development: Support day-to-day collection development activities;
- Showroom Support: Assist with all showroom activities during the buying campaign;
- Sample Coordination: Manage and coordinate collection samples across all involved functions;
- Sustainability Integration: Support the team in monitoring sustainable product attributes, eco-friendly material initiatives, and circularity metrics across the collection lifecycle;
- Innovative Tools: Leverage innovative digital tools—such as AI—to enhance in-depth and faster knowledge of the market, competitors, and trends to identify key insights and opportunities;

Profile

- Business degree; a first experience or internship in the luxury/fashion industry is a plus;
- Passion for and good knowledge of the fashion and luxury industry, with an acute interest in sustainability;
- Strong analytical skills with proficient use of the Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and an agile approach to innovative tools;




- Fluency in both Italian and English;
- Great energy, proactive attitude, and strong teamwork abilities.

Additional information

For internship programs, the monthly reimbourse associated is EUR 800 gross. This role is also eligible for lunch tickets.

FENDI MAISON

The Fendi Maison was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. The opening of the first Fendi boutique – a handbag shop and fur workshop followed.
