Before you apply, please read through our Cultural Manifesto JOB TITLE: Finance Accountant Milan (Hybrid) TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent, full time Seniority : mid to junior Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide a clear picture of WeRoad's financial health. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections, ensuring smooth cash flow management. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards, while supporting external audits.
Support identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline accounting operations. Partner with teams across the organization to deliver financial insights that support business initiatives. Minimum of 1 or max 2 years in accounting or finance, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus. Excel proficiency, knowledge of accounting software, and familiarity with ERP systems (Business Central is a strong plus). Solid knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC); IFRS knowledge is a plus.
Data-driven, detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving problems. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a simple, clear way to non-financial stakeholders. Collaborative mindset,
proactive and accountable, flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing environment, curious and eager to grow in a scale-up.
