We are seeking a chief technology officer (cto) – vp of technology to lead the technology function of a global energy advisory firm with ~300 professionals across europe and north america.

Key Responsibilities

- lead enterprise it and operations across multiple countries, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, endpoint management, global service desk and identity & access management.
- maintain and optimize internal business systems such as microsoft dynamics 365 crm, finance, operations and related data workflows.
- oversee client‐facing platforms in two regions, define product roadmaps, ensure system connectivity and drive continuous platform maintenance.
- integrate ai and automation solutions, collaborating with business units to improve processes and scale growth without proportional headcount increase.
- manage technology cost, vendor relationships, licensing negotiations and outsourced managed‐service arrangements.
- provide leadership and mentorship to a distributed, multi‐country technology team, fostering a high‐performance culture across time zones.

Requirements




- proven track record in defining and executing technology strategy for mid‐size organisations, covering both internal systems and client‐facing digital products.
- deep expertise in the microsoft ecosystem (azure, dynamics 365, power platform, microsoft 365).
- hands‐on operational leadership style with a focus on practical implementation.
- strong commercial acumen, experience in vendor negotiations, licensing optimisation and multi‐country technology budgeting.
- excellent cross‐cultural communication skills and ability to lead distributed teams.
- familiarity with modern data platforms (azure data lake, databricks, microsoft fabric, powerbi) and prior exposure to the energy sector is a plus.
