Job description
We are looking for a specialist in fluid-structure interaction and material behavior at high temperatures and deformation rates, to be included in the Numerical Naval Architecture Business Unit within the Maritime Engineering & Research Area.
The resource will be part of a group of experts in structures, thermo-mechanics and material dynamics with different professional backgrounds and seniority levels and will be involved in both Applied Research/Methodological Development activities and design support in the following areas:
* Mechanical, thermal and thermo-mechanical response of structures in metallic materials or polymer and ceramic-based composites.
* Modeling of material behavior at high deformation rates in the presence of high temperatures.
