AYES, an international engineering and technology consulting company, is looking for a Configuration Manager – Software Configuration Management (SCM) with strong hands-on experience in Git, software development and merge conflict resolution to support an international engineering project.

Responsibilities
• Manage software configuration and source code management activities using Git, SVN and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tools.
• Perform Git branch management, merging, rebasing and conflict resolution, ensuring code consistency and integration across different software versions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve source code conflicts, leveraging hands-on software development and programming experience.




• Support software development teams in repository management, code integration and version control processes.
• Administer and maintain configuration management environments, including IBM Engineering Test Management (ETM) and Global Configuration Management (GCM).
• Manage software baselines, repository access and configuration management processes.
• Support release management activities and ensure consistency and traceability across software versions.
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to improve configuration management workflows.

Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in software development, software integration or a closely related technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Git, particularly branching, merging, rebasing and conflict resolution.
