Are you a Network Administrator who enjoys keeping complex, mission-critical infrastructures secure and running smoothly? Join the network team of a leading international organization in Rome and help deliver reliable, security-first network services in a multi-tenant environment! ?

? Contract: full-time

? Work model: On-site in Rome – candidates must be based in Rome or willing to relocate

? Team: You will join a dedicated team of 4–5 network professionals

? On-call: Only on an exceptional basis

? What you'll do:

Configure and support Cisco infrastructure, including Nexus and Catalyst switches and routers

Configure and administer firewalls (Cisco Firepower and F5 BIG-IP AFM) and F5 load balancers

Administer Cisco Meraki solutions (switching, wireless and security)

Configure and support IPsec site-to-site VPN tunnels

Monitor WAN usage and network performance, and troubleshoot network issues

Provide first- and second-level support, coordinating with vendors when needed

Review logs and alerts, and take corrective actions

Maintain technical documentation and configuration templates

Take part in network security projects, review vulnerability and risk reports, and implement controls

Work with IT, business and cybersecurity teams to turn requirements into secure technical solutions

Automate recurring operational tasks using scripting and automation platforms

? Must-haves:

5+ years of experience as a Network Administrator

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco switching and routing

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki

Proven experience with F5 load balancers

Strong experience with firewall technologies (Cisco Firepower and F5 AFM)





Solid knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)

Good understanding of cloud networking, ideally AWS (VPC, routing, security groups, connectivity)

Knowledge of LAN, data centre and WAN technologies: SD-WAN, DIA, MPLS, DNS, authentication services and network monitoring

Good understanding of network security and cybersecurity risk management

Experience working in ITIL-based environments

Fluent written and spoken English

Experience with IPsec VPN technologies

Network monitoring and performance analysis tools

Experience in multi-vendor environments

Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Cisco Meraki, Cisco Firepower/Security, AWS (Advanced Networking, Solutions Architect), ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+, CISSP, GIAC or Zero Trust
