Your Mission The Business Developer will be responsible for originating, developing and advancing renewable energy projects from early-stage identification through to Ready-to-Build (RTB) or transaction phase. The role focuses on building a robust project pipeline, managing key stakeholder relationships and coordinating internal and external teams to ensure the technical, financial and commercial viability of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and originate renewable energy opportunities, including solar PV, wind, energy storage and hybrid projects, in line with the company’s growth strategy.
- Develop and manage the project pipeline from early-stage assessment through permitting, land securing, grid access and key approvals.
- Coordinate feasibility analyses, including technical, environmental, regulatory and financial assessments.
- Manage relationships with landowners, local authorities, grid operators, consultants and other external stakeholders.
- Support financial modelling,



business cases and investment memoranda in collaboration with the Finance and Investment teams.
- Coordinate internal teams, including Engineering, Legal, HSE, ESG and Finance, to ensure project alignment and timely progress.
- Lead or support negotiations of land agreements, option contracts and other development-related agreements.
- Monitor regulatory frameworks and market trends to identify risks and opportunities affecting project development.
- Prepare and present project updates, reports and pipeline status reviews to management and internal committees.

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Environmental Sciences or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the same position.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, cadastral tools, virtual data room (VDR) tools and corporate digital document management tools.
- A Master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Project Development, Finance or a similar field will be considered a plus.

Languages:

- Italian
- English proficiency at B2 level or above.
