pNetwork Administrator – Rome (Hybrid) – 12-Month Contract /p h3What you’ll be doing - /h3 ul liConfiguring and supporting Cisco infrastructure, including Nexus and Catalyst switches and routers /li liAdministering firewalls, including Cisco Firepower and the F5 BIG-IP AFM module /li liConfiguring and supporting F5 load balancers /li liAdministering Cisco Meraki solutions (switching, wireless and security) /li liConfiguring and supporting IPsec site-to-site VPN tunnels /li liMonitoring WAN usage and network performance, and troubleshooting issues /li liProviding first and second-line support, including coordination with vendors /li liReviewing logs and alerts and taking corrective action /li liMaintaining technical documentation and configuration templates /li liContributing to network security projects, reviewing vulnerability and risk reports, and implementing controls /li liWorking with IT, business and cybersecurity teams to turn requirements into secure technical solutions, proposals and cost estimates /li liAutomating recurring operational tasks with scripting and automation tools /li liOccasional on-call support on an exceptional basis /li /ul h3What you’ll need - /h3 ul liAt least 6 -12 years' experience in network administration /li liStrong hands-on experience with Cisco switching and routing /li liStrong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki /li liProven experience with F5 load balancers /li liStrong experience with Cisco Firepower and F5 AFM firewalls /li liSolid knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP /li liGood understanding of cloud networking, ideally AWS (VPCs, routing, security groups, connectivity) /li /ul h3Nice to have - /h3 ul liIPsec VPN experience /li liExperience with network monitoring and performance analysis tools /li liExperience in multi-vendor environments /li liCertifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Cisco Meraki, Cisco Security, AWS (Advanced Networking or Solutions Architect), ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+, CISSP, GIAC or Zero Trust /li /ul h3About you - /h3 pYou're service-minded, collaborative and comfortable working closely with customers.
