pWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Construction Manager to join our expanding team. /p pThe Senior Construction Manager is responsible for providing senior construction management advice, oversight, monitoring and reporting in support of major pharmaceutical and life sciences capital projects from project inception through commissioning, qualification, validation support and handover. /p pThe role provides senior-level guidance and assurance across construction activities, monitoring and reporting on project safety, compliance, programme, budget and quality performance. The successful candidate will act as Wade's senior construction representative, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining key client relationships and supporting project performance across all stages of delivery. /p pThe Senior Construction Manager will promote Wade's core values in every aspect of project delivery while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety and continuous improvement. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Strategic Leadership Project Delivery /h3 ul liSupport the delivery of large-scale pharmaceutical and life sciences construction projects and programmes. /li liAdvise on and review project execution and construction delivery strategies. /li liProvide guidance and advice to Construction Managers, Site Managers, Project Engineers, and wider project teams. /li liAct as the senior point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders. /li liReview and report on alignment between project objectives, client requirements, and business goals. /li liPromote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across project teams. /li liRepresent Wade at senior leadership, steering committee, and executive project meetings. /li liSupport business development activities, client engagement, and future project opportunities. /li /ul h3Construction Management /h3 ul liMonitor and report on all capital project construction activities. /li liVerify and report whether construction delivery is executed in accordance with approved programme, budget, quality standards, and GMP requirements. /li liLiaise with multidisciplinary project teams throughout all phases of project delivery. /li liMonitor contractor performance and report on achievement of project objectives. /li liReview and advise on site logistics, resource planning, and construction sequencing. /li liSupport resolution of complex technical, operational, and commercial challenges. /li liWork closely with Pre-Construction Managers and Design Teams during project development. /li liContribute to constructability reviews and construction planning activities. /li liSupport development of Employer's Requirements, tender evaluations, procurement strategies, and contractor selection. /li liSupport and review the transition from project concept through construction execution.



/li /ul h3Risk Governance Management /h3 ul liReview and advise on project and programme risk management processes. /li liIdentify, assess, and recommend mitigation of commercial, programme, safety, quality, and operational risks. /li liPropose governance structures and reporting frameworks across projects. /li liReview and advise on the development and implementation of recovery plans where required. /li liEscalate critical issues and provide strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders. /li /ul h3Commercial Contract Management /h3 ul liMonitor project commercial performance and financial governance. /li liReview budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and change management activities. /li liReview and make recommendations on contractor valuations, variations, and commercial submissions. /li liSupport negotiation and management of NEC, JCT, and bespoke contracts. /li liAdvise on the alignment of commercial decisions with project and business objectives. /li /ul h3GMP, Quality Compliance /h3 ul liMonitor and report on compliance with GMP, GxP, FDA, EMA, MHRA, and client-specific quality requirements. /li liChampion quality excellence throughout construction delivery. /li liSupport commissioning, qualification, validation, and operational readiness activities. /li liReview construction documentation and turnover packages against regulatory and client expectations. /li liPromote inspection readiness throughout the project lifecycle. /li /ul h3Environmental, Health Safety Leadership /h3 ul liPromote Wade's safety-first culture across all projects. /li liAttend and contribute to EHS leadership meetings and project safety reviews. /li liReview and advise on the management of high-risk construction activities. /li liMonitor safety performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives. /li liParticipate in investigations of significant incidents and monitor implementation of corrective actions.Monitor and report on compliance with all statutory, company, and client safety requirements. /li /ul h3Client Stakeholder Management /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders. /li liAct as a trusted advisor to clients on construction strategy and project delivery. /li liFacilitate communications across client, consultant, contractor, and internal teams. /li liSupport conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement activities. /li liEnsure client expectations are understood and consistently exceeded.
