/ph3About the job /h3pBased at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Events Department in Milan, the Events Manager is responsible for groups and events sales and operations. The Events Manager reports to the Hotel Manager. /ph3As Events Manager, you willresponsiblefor the following duties: /h3ulliSupport company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement; /liliCarries out site visits as per company standards; /liliEnsure a “sales” approach in every lead, customizing offers and ensuring that a luxury and positive attitude is always maintained; /liliConducts weekly Group/event meetings with the team and other departments; /liliGenerates Banquet Event Orders, groups Resumes and business correspondence. /liliMaintain an active trace system for all assigned groups. Compiles all internal database ensuring time efficiency and data accuracy as per MO policies /liliObtain necessary approvals/permits/insurance certificates for events that are required /liliContract business with approved vendors, as appropriate. /liliDevelop Sales Team training courses based on current performance. /li /ulh3As Events Manager, weexpectfrom you:
