Pharmaceutical & Cosmetic Process Equipment
OLSAis an engineering and manufacturing company specialized in the design, development and production of high-technology equipment and complete process systems for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetic and fine chemical industries.
We are looking for aSenior Mechanical Designerwith solid experience in the design ofpressure vessels, tanks and process equipment, capable of working within a highly regulated environment and ensuring full compliance with international design codes and standards.
This role requires a strong technical background in mechanical design, pressure equipment regulations and engineering calculations, combined with a practical manufacturing-oriented mindset.
Design and developpressure vessels, tanks and process equipmentin compliance with applicable international standards.
Perform mechanical design activities according toPED *******/EU,ASME Section VIII, and related codes and standards.
Review customer specifications and User Requirement Specifications (URS) to identify applicable regulatory and technical requirements.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design dossiers and manufacturing drawings.
Interface withNotified Bodies, inspection agencies and customers during design reviews and certification processes.
Design mechanical systems including agitators, mixers, lifting devices and supporting steel structures.
Support product standardization and simplification initiatives to improve scalability and manufacturing efficiency.
Monitor and implement updates related to international pressure equipment regulations and industry standards.




Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
What We Are Looking For
Strong knowledge of the design principles ofpressure vessels and pressure-containing equipment.
Proven experience applyingPED *******/EUrequirements and conformity assessment procedures.
Good understanding ofASME Section VIII Division 1 and/or Division 2.
Familiarity with pressure vessel calculations, material selection and mechanical integrity requirements.
Experience working with certification bodies and technical authorities.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong ownership, attention to detail and "right-first-time" approach.
Professional proficiency in English.
Advanced use ofSolidWorksand preparation of production drawings.
Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum5 years of experiencein mechanical design.
Proven experience in the design ofpressure vessels, process tanks, reactors or similar process equipment.
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, cosmetic, food or chemical process industries will be considered a strong plus.
Knowledge ofEN *****, pressure equipment certification processes and international regulatory frameworks is highly appreciated.
Experience with rotating equipment (mixers, agitators, drives) is considered a plus.
