Educational Requirements: Master’s Degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous laboratory internship or hands‑on experience with microbiology or molecular biology techniques;
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems or electronic laboratory notebooks;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presenting results;
- Basic data visualization skills and experience summarizing experimental findings;
- Awareness of biosafety practices and handling of bacterial strains;
- English proficiency at B2 level or above.

What will you do?
The support required will progressively increase both in terms of autonomy in executing activities and understanding bacterial target identification processes and laboratory research activities. The successful candidate will support the team in the following activities:
- Preparation of bacterial cultures for the expression of protein targets;
- Support in biochemical and microbiological experiments aimed at identifying and validating potential molecular targets, including SDS‑PAGE, Western Blot and chromatography techniques;
- Collection, recording and preliminary analysis of experimental data using spreadsheets and laboratory systems;
- Maintenance of laboratory notebooks, documentation and records, ensuring appropriate sample tracking and storage;
- Support in reagent preparation, equipment checks and routine laboratory maintenance activities;
- Contribution to the preparation of clear scientific documentation and communication of results to the team;
- Collaboration with scientists and cross‑functional teams
