We are seeking a chief technology officer (cto) – vp of technology to lead the technology function of a global energy advisory firm with ~300 professionals across europe and north america. Key Responsibilities * lead enterprise it and operations across multiple countries, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, endpoint management, global service desk and identity & access management. * maintain and optimize internal business systems such as microsoft dynamics 365 crm, finance, operations and related data workflows. * oversee client‐facing platforms in two regions, define product roadmaps, ensure system connectivity and drive continuous platform maintenance. * integrate ai and automation solutions, collaborating with business units to improve processes and scale growth without proportional headcount increase. * manage technology cost, vendor relationships, licensing negotiations and outsourced managed‐service arrangements. * provide leadership and mentorship to a distributed, multi‐country technology team, fostering a high‐performance culture across time zones.
Requirements * proven track record in defining and executing technology strategy for mid‐size organisations, covering both internal systems and client‐facing digital products. * deep expertise in the microsoft ecosystem (azure, dynamics 365, power platform, microsoft 365). * hands‐on operational leadership style with a focus on practical implementation. * strong commercial acumen, experience in vendor negotiations, licensing optimisation and multi‐country technology budgeting. * excellent cross‐cultural communication skills and ability to lead distributed teams. * familiarity with modern data platforms (azure data lake, databricks, microsoft fabric, powerbi) and prior exposure to the energy sector is a plus.
