Mr. & Mrs. Italy is a boutique travel company focused exclusively on creating customized journeys throughout Italy. We are seeking a highly organized, experienced professional based in Italy to manage the transportation and logistics elements of our clients’ trips.

This is a full-time, remote position for someone living in Italy who understands the practical side of moving travelers throughout the country and enjoys coordinating complex details behind the scenes.

About the PositionThis role is responsible for overseeing transportation arrangements across our itineraries and ensuring that each service is properly planned, booked, confirmed, tracked, and communicated.

You will work closely with our Italy Ground Manager and collaborate with team members in both Italy and the United States.

Key ResponsibilitiesYour work will include:

- Organizing private drivers and transfer services throughout Italy
- Booking and managing train, ferry, and hydrofoil transportation
- Coordinating rental vehicles and domestic air travel when needed
- Arranging boat transportation and other specialized transportation services
- Contacting suppliers to request availability and pricing
- Reviewing supplier proposals and identifying the best logistical options
- Completing reservations and maintaining accurate confirmation records
- Communicating directly with transportation companies and service providers in Italy
- Monitoring schedules, deadlines, payments, and booking details
- Handling itinerary changes, cancellations, delays, and other unexpected issues
- Identifying potential transportation conflicts before they become problems
- Making sure transportation services fit smoothly into the overall trip itinerary
- Providing timely updates to the appropriate members of our internal team





The Person We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate is:
- Currently living in Italy
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Experienced in travel operations, transportation logistics, tourism, hospitality, or a related field
- Extremely organized and attentive to detail
- Comfortable managing many moving parts at the same time
- Confident communicating with Italian transportation suppliers and service providers
- Proactive and able to identify issues before they affect the client
- Calm and resourceful when schedules or plans change
- Dependable and committed to following tasks through to completion
- Able to work independently while staying closely connected with a collaborative team
- Comfortable taking ownership of an important area of travel operations

Although each person has a defined area of responsibility, our work is highly collaborative and communication is essential. This is not a freelance travel advisor or independent trip-planning opportunity. We are hiring for a dedicated, full-time position.
