Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - Italian

Type: Contract

Compensation: $40/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

- Evaluate AI training data in Italian to ensure transcription accuracy and alignment.
- Review multilingual transcription audits by listening to recordings and verifying transcription accuracy.
- Conduct forced alignment audits by checking and correcting word-level timestamps and transcriptions.
- Apply error codes and provide clear rationales for audit decisions.
- Work independently and with flexible hours to complete tasks with precision.
- Ensure high-quality AI model outputs through careful and consistent judgment.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- Native or near-native Italian command as spoken in Italy.




- Strong English reading and writing skills.
- Disciplined rubric application for consistent judgment.
- Careful listening skills to distinguish sounds and identify errors.

Preferred

- Experience in AI data annotation, model evaluation, or audio editing.
- Background in phonetics or linguistics.
