# Sales Administration & Local Sales Specialist **Description** * The intern will support the Remarketing Team in achieving its business objectives by contributing to activities related to the end-of-contract phase of rental and leasing vehicles and their subsequent sales. * Under the guidance of the Sales Administration and Local Sales Team, the intern will gain hands-on experience in administrative and after-sales processes related to vehicles owned by Volkswagen Bank and Volkswagen Leasing. **Role and duty – core business** * * * * Administration of buy-back sales (RAC vehicles) to the National Sales Company (VGI) * Support in dealer management activities * Communication of sales results and confirmation of winning bidders (local sales process) * Monitoring and control of incoming payments (local sales process * Support in credit checks on buyers (local sales process) * Support in the release of sold vehicles (local sales process) * Support in ownership transfer and invoicing activities (local sales process) * Assistance with back-office activities, such as self-billing, vehicle registration record checks and customer data updates * Communication and coordination with buyers and external stakeholders * Support in the management of severely damaged vehicles and wrecks * Support in B2C sales processes **Competences** * Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with a particular focus on Excel (intermediate level or above)
