* Rate: Flexible based on relevant experience and availability Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support a major pharmaceutical project based in Lombardy, Italy. This is an urgent requirement for a highly skilled engineering professional with a strong background in pharmaceutical process design and project execution. The successful candidate will play a key role in the engineering and design phases of the project, providing technical expertise and ensuring process solutions meet operational, regulatory, and quality requirements. This is initially a 9-month contract with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position. Key Responsibilities * Lead process engineering and design activities across project phases * Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs;, process calculations, and technical specifications * Support conceptual, basic, and detailed design activities * Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers,



and stakeholders * Ensure designs comply with GMP requirements and pharmaceutical industry standards * Conduct process evaluations, risk assessments, and engineering reviews * Support equipment selection, sizing, and process optimisation activities * Provide technical input during project meetings and design reviews * Assist with commissioning, qualification, and start-up activities where required Requirements * Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline * Minimum 8 years' process engineering experience within the pharmaceutical industry * Strong design engineering background with proven project delivery experience * Experience working within regulated GMP environments * Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and facilities * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills * Ability to work on-site or in a hybrid capacity in Lombardy, Italy Ideal Candidate Profile An experienced Senior Process Engineer with 10+ years of p
