Overview In this role you lead complex space mission projects to meet technical, schedule, and budget goals from conception to delivery. You work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met and projects stay on track. You manage PMO activities, coordinate procurement, and oversee risk and financial health. You will operate within ESA/ASI standards, driving successful mission outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction. Responsabilità * Lead and manage complex space mission programs from concept to completion to achieve schedule, cost, and technical objectives * Serve as primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and capturing customer requirements * Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, finance) for smooth project execution * Direct PMO activities, including Procurement Managers, to ensure timely, within-budget deliverables * Organize and lead project meetings, technical reviews, and workshops with clear outcomes and documentation * Oversee project finances: cost estimation, budget tracking, risk management,



and performance reporting * Identify, assess, and mitigate risks affecting schedule, budget, and performance * Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (ESA, ASI) throughout the lifecycle Requisiti fondamentali * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management, or related field * Minimum 5 years of program management experience in space missions or aerospace projects, preferably with ESA/ASI * Ground segment management experience is a plus (C2, telemetry, comms) * Proven leadership in building and guiding cross-disciplinary teams * Deep understanding of space mission standards and industry practices * Strong financial acumen with cost estimation and budget management * Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken * Negotiation skills with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders * Familiarity with project manage
