Profile DescriptionQFP, a leading company operating in the field of non-contact 3D measurement systems and automation, is seeking a Metrology Technician for the Metrology department at its Este (PD) location.The Metrology Technician develops the required metrological/technical service related to measurement and survey processes, dimensional inspection, reverse engineering, and programming of automatic inspection systems. The service is provided through the use of the most innovative measurement equipment (automatic measurement systems, optical and laser 3D scanners, CMMs, laboratory instrumentation) and specific software. The Metrology Technician reports to the Industrial Metrology Manager.In detail, the main tasks of the Metrology Technician:3D scanning, CMM measurements, measurements with other laboratory systemsCreation of 3D/2D inspection reports,Reverse engineering activitiesProgramming of automatic measurement systemsDefinition of project requirements in contact with the customerActivities are carried out within QFP laboratories or at the client’s site.This important customer service role requires a professional attitude, a propensity for customer relations at all times,
