About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Infor LN Functional Consultant to join a long-term project based near Verona, Italy. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Infor LN, with proven experience across Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Services .

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, key users, and technical teams to support the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing development of Infor LN, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into robust ERP solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on functional consultant to contribute to a long-term project within a complex industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business processes and gather functional requirements across Manufacturing, SCM, and Services.
- Configure and optimise Infor LN functionality to meet business needs and operational requirements.
- Support end-to-end business processes, ensuring integration between manufacturing, supply chain, and service operations.
- Facilitate workshops with business users, process owners, and key stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on solution delivery.
- Support system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
- Provide functional support for existing Infor LN processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
- Assist with data migration, validation, system integration, and deployment activities where required.
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and user training materials.
- Support go-live activities, issue resolution, and post-implementation stabilisation.




- Work collaboratively with international project teams and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience and Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Infor LN in a functional consulting capacity.
- Proven functional knowledge across the following areas:
- Manufacturing: Production planning, manufacturing orders, shop-floor processes, BOMs, routings, and production control.
- Supply Chain Management (SCM): Procurement, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, order management, and logistics.
- Services: Service order management, field service, maintenance, repairs, service contracts, and after-sales service processes, as applicable to the business.
- Good understanding of end-to-end ERP processes and cross-functional dependencies.
- Experience in requirements gathering, functional configuration, testing, and business process improvement.
- Ability to work independently and engage effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working on ERP implementation, rollout, upgrade, or optimisation projects.
- Flexibility to work on-site near Verona, Italy, as required by the project.

Desirable Skills

- Experience in complex manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience with Infor LN integrations and related enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with ERP data migration, reporting, and interface testing.
- Previous experience working on international, multi-site ERP programmes.
- Italian language skills, alongside professional English communication skills.
